RGN / RMN / RNLD Nurses Vacancies

Total Care Services are a Care & Nursing Agency based in Merthyr Tydfil and supply our services throughout South Wales to various care settings i.e. Nursing, Residential, Mental Health, Hospice’s.

We offer 12 hour shifts, competitive rates of pay, free internal training, external training opportunities, support with your revalidation and pin registration renewal, on call support and guidance from an experienced team who are committed to providing a high quality care.

Duties will include:

Supporting Vulnerable Adults

Maintain and promote the health and wellbeing of clients

Carry out regular checks on clients at intervals throughout shift, ensuring a clear and concise handover report is given to all relevant staff members at the end of each shift.

Administration of medication in line with current NMC guidance

Mobility and transfer assistance / support

Daily encouragement and support activities

Record keeping – documenting factual, non judgemental information in care notes

Report to other professionals for handing over and taking information during shift

Abide by any health and safety requirements within the setting and in line with current legislation

Promote and monitor the Nutritional and Dietary needs of clients

Work within a team and on an individual basis as and when required

Promote Independence, privacy, dignity, confidentiality, respect and fulfilment must be all times
